Where is this thing going and at what speeds
Regionally, at 1,200 Km/h
Hyperloop claims to be 1,200km/h, and the distance of 900km from the looks of it will come to 45 minutes from Abu Dhabi to Riyadh!
The world’s first commercial Hyperloop system of 10km in critical development area between Abu Dhabi and Dubai, HyperloopTT said in a release.
Is Abu Dhabi feeling the VAT impact on commercial properties?
HyperloopTT plans construction of the line in several phases within the ten-kilometer allocation, with further development aimed at creating a commercial Hyperloop network across the Emirates and beyond.
“This agreement creates the basis for the first commercial Hyperloop system in the world here in the Emirates, with the goal of eventually connecting Abu Dhabi to Al Ain, Dubai, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia,” said Bibop Gresta, Chairman of HyperloopTT. “With regulatory support, we hope the first section will be operational in time for Expo 2020.”
Abu Dhabi sovereign rating resilient. Dubai’s stable growth not without risks
Building a hyperloop system, on average, costs anywhere between $20-$40 million dollars per km with estimated ROI from 8-10 years but varies according to population density, so that in places like India, ROI takes less time as more people use the system.
