DH1b of retail projects in Abu Dhabi by Emke

Managing Director of the Abu Dhabi-based regional retailer Emke Group said that the company is planning to invest more than Dh1 billion in retail and development projects in Abu Dhabi in the coming years, Gulf News reported.

Earlier, Emke Managing Director signed an agreement with chairman of the Abu Dhabi Municipality, to manage the Dh800 million Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre and Gold Souq from January.

Line Investment, the investment arm of Emke Group, will start work in March at a cost of Dh150 million.

The contract's period is 10 years starting from beginning of 2007.
