Austin , Wincor Nixdorf, one of the world's leading suppliers of IT solutions for the retail and banking retail industries, has named well-known retail industry executive Tad Shepperd as Vice President of the U.S. Retail Group. He will oversee all aspects of the company’s retail solutions business in the U.S.
Shepperd comes to Wincor Nixdorf from Spencer Technologies where he served as Chief Business Development Officer. His responsibilities at Spencer included leading worldwide sales and marketing programs. Shepperd is most widely known as the co-founder and former co-CEO of ShopperTrak, a company that established the most advanced line of intelligence solutions for retailers that rely on foot traffic. He steered the organization to $20 million in sales with 30,000 systems installed in 20 countries.
