Kuala Lumpur, Celcom (Malaysia) Bhd targets to open at least 200 of its one-stop concept stores called "Blue Cube" by end of next year, its chief executive officer Datuk Seri Shazalli Ramly said at the launch of Blue Cube at KL Sentral today.
Currently, Blue Cube concept stores are at KL Sentral, The Curve, Mines Shopping Centre and Sunway Pyramid in the Klang Valley and Queensbay Mall in Penang.
"Blue Cube allows consumers to experience, touch and feel the full range of mobile lifestyle products and services from Celcom like 3G (third generation) services and mobile content," Shazalli said.
The Deputy Minister of Energy, Water and Communications, Datuk Shaziman Abu Mansor, who was at the launch, congratulated the company for taking the initiative in improving its consumer interaction.
"The store will enable Celcom to reach out to the daily commuters at KL Sentral as well as tourists during Visit Malaysia Year 2007," he added.
Celcom has 6.2 million customers and over 270,000 3G subscribers.
